GM AND ISUZU PLAN NEW S-10

Ward's Dealer Business, Nov 1, 2001 12:00 PM

General Motors Corp. and Isuzu Motors Limited have joined forces to develop the next generation S-10 midsize pickup, a program expected to yield 500,000 units annually, making it the biggest joint venture the partners will have attempted in their 30-year history.

The Isuzu-badged concept vehicle, unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show last month, is a joint effort that leverages each other's resources and engineering expertise, says Isuzu President Yashinori Ida.
